I think I have finally found something that works.  since I have started my garden I have been attempting to eat more home created food and eating less processed food.  One for the nutritional aspect as well as the cost effectiveness. 
I was raised on home cooked food.  I am not from the south so my mom didn't cook a lot of the traditional southern foods.  She also didn't fry too much food or make casseroles.  I have noticed that I tend to gravitate my cooking towards what I grew up eating. 
This is Zuccinni relish.  The recipe is from the Ball Book.

On this blog I will post any items that I made from scratch and how it goes over on the family satisfactory scale.
